William Hicks is a pioneer Internet programmer. For nearly four years, William Hicks was responsible for programming the U.S. Air Force e-mail and personnel systems on the Internet before web browsers existed. During that time, he obtained a dual MA in Information Management and Business. His consulting experience includes industries such as mobile communications, insurance, utilities, government, telecommunications, Internet virtual communities, e-commerce, medical, data center equipment manufacturing, and non-profit.

Mr. Hicks converted MCI's national billing system from an IBM AS400 to UNIX SUN in just two months. He went on to develop the software for the first mobile communications laptops in police cars.
